A pet peeve in todays Hi-tech wireless world, i have found, is freaks on their cell phones who dont seem to treasure the value of a private conversation. Sitting on a bus, which can longer be described as stealth or even quiet for that matter, you hear the voice of some small time business tycoon discussing his supposed millions . WHich bids you ask the question , if you are such a millionaire why are you travelling by bus ?? DO us all a favour and get yourself a car , save us the torture of listening to your detailed business transactions .
Another section of society who seem to use their cell phones as a social tool is the social climber aka the bimbo , spreading the good news of their new "relationship". "Yes darling , mujhe hai na , like , teri bahut rememberance ho rahi hai, tu apna Karizma lekar a, hum log date pe marine drive chalte hai. My dear PYTs, I must tell you, no ones impressed. Doing that just underlines your misguided priorities. It also makes the higher, more intellectually advanced beings balk rather than be impressed , s you had initially hoped.
A.G. Bell may have started out with an instrument that required a higher voice volume but just as Darwin had theorised, the world has evolved since then, and so has your telephonic means of communication. It can now transmit the sound of your 90 year old Grandmother asleep in the next room across the globe. There is no longer a need to spek in elevated tones. Its a cellphone people, not a medieval town cryers bullhorn.
"Haan maji maine saara samaan le liya, Uff , Raju aur Pappu se keh dijiye ki gaadi ghar ke gate tak lekar aye, main vahaan se ghar ke darvaje tak gaadi me hi jaongi varna mein maike ja rahi hoon haan..."
