Walking down the street in the distance i hear "Fuck man! What a fucking good show man !!" Oh! What a dire need we seem to have for the use of profanity in daily parlance . I do believe most just do it to to seem "cool" or "hep". So not the way to go is what i would like to say people. Dont worry this is not another moral tirade similar to the ones some of our co-habitants in this country have taken upon themselves to conduct . It is in fact ,strangely, an Ode to Profanities.
I do believe that these profanities originally came into being with a motive other than to be incorporated in daily conversation. The original intention of their inception , I do believe, was to express such passionate emotions as are seldom felt in daily life. Something raw , something so primal and animalistic that the only other way to express them would be brute force or action. So why do we denegrade their vulgaric sanctity by giving them a post in our everyday language.
Doing so , i believe, would cause them to lose their lustre . Making them mundane would give us no other outlet than to resort to brute action in order to express our passionate negative emotions. IS there a need for more of that in our already semi-savage, conflict prone society ? Therefore, I argue, in order to preserve, at least a minimal degree, peace in our society, we must give due respect to the power and manner and timing of usage of profanities in our daily language .
